Dani Hanoch, sopravvissuto all’Olocausto, è finalmente riuscito a convincere i propri figli ormai adulti, Miri and Sagi, a fare un viaggio con lui fino a ciò che resta dei campi nazisti in Lituania e Polonia.
Con loro Dani vuole esaudire il sogno di una vita: passare la notte nella sua vecchia baracca di Auschwitz.
Attorno ad una fetta di pizza, che Miri gli porta dalla vicina città di Auschwitz, padre e figli hanno un’inevitabile abbuffata riempita di humour nero ed enorme dolore.
Dani Hanoch, a Holocaust survivor, has finally persuaded his children, now adults Miri and Sagi, to travel with him to the death camps’ remains in Lithuania and Poland.
Along with them, he wants to fulfill a long-life fantasy: spending the night in his old barracks in Auschwitz.
Around a slice of pizza, which Miri brings to her father from the nearby town of Auschwitz, father and children will stuff their faces with black humour and great pain.
